Also during the year 2024, As well as in the previous two-year period 2022-2023, Our cooperative is dedicated to multiple laboratory activities designed to encourage personal growth and active learning. Through a wide range of experiences, from creative to educational workshops, we create inclusive and stimulating environments where each participant can express themselves freely and develop new skills.
LABORATORY ACTIVITIES
Work in the laboratory and the activities connected to it are particularly important because they allow the activation of educational processes in which children become protagonists, overcoming the attitude of passivity and extraneousness. The child, so, has an active role and can learn by experimenting in the serenity of a non-judgmental environment, in an environment where it is possible to make mistakes.
GARDENING WORKSHOP
Among the various activities carried out, of notable success and curiosity, were those of the transplanting of seedlings, in which the children themselves planted and watered seedlings or seeds.
Through this activity, "our little ones" learned to take care of the plant by watering it daily and the greatest joy was seeing a flower born, fruit processors.
COOKING WORKSHOP
The child in early childhood, unlike the older child and adult, has a multimodal approach to reality, which approaches with the involvement of all its organs.
The project ''Sweet Creations'' it is a very stimulating activity from a cognitive point of view, because it is rich in observation points and experiences that are the basis for understanding the basic concepts of physics, of chemistry, of mathematics, just one example will suffice: Sometimes it is difficult for children to acquire the concept of fractions, and teachers often explain this by using a drawing of a cake that is divided into parts.
Food and cooking can become special opportunities to bring into play educational actions capable of stimulating the psycho-physical development of the child, its autonomy, his growth and his cultural background.
SUsing your hands means knowing how to physically create something, it means "know how to do", finger skill builds slowly, but it must be stimulated and encouraged.
It was a success and for this reason it will be repeated for the year 2024!
