Fire Fighting Level 1 – Update for Employees

Who is the course aimed at??

The refresher course for firefighting workers Level 1 ex "low" risk is an obligation defined by the Legislative Decree. 81/08 for all activities that have at least one employee or collaborator, who is responsible for implementing the measures and managing the state of fire emergency and activities involving poorly flammable substances.

To ensure the safety of people and the protection of the environment, the Legislative Decree establishes that those who hold this role must be trained and updated regularly. The training aims to provide essential cognitive tools, theoretical and practical in order to fulfill the obligations of a company fire prevention officer for "low" risk.

Contents of the Level 1 Fire Fighting Refresher Course

Our company's Level 1 firefighting refresher course is structured to provide participants with all the information necessary to best carry out their role as a firefighting officer.

The course program includes a complete discussion of the principles and products of combustion, of the main fire protection measures, behavioral measures, of the emergency call and the effects of the fire.

In particular, participants will learn to recognize risk factors, the methods of intervention in case of emergency, to identify the prevention and protection measures to be adopted and to manage fire emergency situations, in order to minimize risks to health and safety in the workplace.

The former low risk firefighting refresher course is organized with the aim of offering complete training suited to the needs of those who already hold the qualification of low risk firefighting officer and who wish to keep their knowledge of fire safety up to date.

Duration and method of implementation

The Level 1 Firefighters Refresher Course lasts 2 hours and is carried out both online with video lessons and in person.

The training is structured to allow participants to learn in an effective and engaging way, thanks to the use of videos, tests and interactive teaching materials.

Students will be provided with in-depth teaching material.
