Who is required to take the Group B-C First Aid refresher course?
He D.Lgs. 81/08 obliges companies to provide the necessary training to their workers to allow them to carry out first aid in case of emergency. In particular, the group B-C First Aid refresher course is aimed at all companies or production units with three or more workers who do not fall into group A, that is, they do not carry out high-risk activities.
Companies are required to ensure that their workers are able to intervene in case of emergencies and know how to manage dangerous situations effectively. Updating the first aid course is mandatory every three years to maintain the qualification to carry out this role.
Contents of the First Aid Refresher Course
The group B-C first aid refresher course provides participants with the theoretical and practical skills necessary to intervene in the event of medical emergencies and manage dangerous situations. The course focuses on: human anatomy and physiology to better understand the functioning of the human body and be able to intervene appropriately in the event of a medical emergency, first aid techniques: to be able to intervene promptly in case of bleeding, fractures, burns, anaphylactic shock, epileptic seizures, cerebrovascular accidents and other medical emergencies, emergency management: to learn how to manage dangerous situations, adopt prevention and protection measures, call for help and manage communication with emergency services.
Duration and method of implementation
The Group B-C First Aid Refresher Course for Employees lasts 4 hours and is carried out in person.
The course ends with a final test, which allows you to verify the knowledge acquired during the course. In case of positive outcome, the corresponding certificate is issued in accordance with current regulations.
