BLSD – PBLSD
The BLSD Course – PBLSD (Basic Life Support and Defibrillation, with pediatric module included) It is designed for those who wish to acquire practical and theoretical skills to effectively deal with health emergency situations. During the training course, you will learn how to intervene in the event of cardiac arrest or airway obstruction in adults, children and infants.
The course program combines theoretical lessons and practical sessions with the aim of providing complete and immediately applicable preparation. You will learn to recognize emergency signs promptly, to correctly activate the rescue system and perform fundamental life-saving maneuvers such as CPR, the use of the AED and techniques for clearing the airways.
Course objectives
- Know the sequence of maneuvers of the BLS-D protocol
- Prevent and treat airway obstruction
- Recognize cardiac arrest and unconsciousness
- Use the automatic external defibrillator (DAE)
- Apply the unblocking maneuvers
- Alert the emergency services correctly
- Apply cardiopulmonary resuscitation (RCP)
Who is it aimed at?
The BLSD course – PBLSD in Palermo is designed for both healthcare personnel and ordinary citizens. It is aimed at doctors, nurses, OSS and rescuers, but also to parents, grandparents, babysitters and teachers who wish to learn the main life-saving manoeuvres.
It is particularly suitable for those who work or practice sports, as sports instructors, coaches, personal trainer, athletes, as well as swimming instructors and lifeguards. The course is also suitable for company emergency workers, school staff and airport staff.
